Ilgo Hotel - Perugia

Had a blast with friends visiting the International Journalism Festival and Perugina factory during the Eurochocolate Festival. The shuttle service into town was super convenient, and we loved the dining experiences each night. The views from our room were fine too!

The decor in some areas felt a bit outdated, which took away from the charm after a while.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms with a lovely view of the mountains. Mini fridge in room was great for keeping the water cool. Breakfast was excellent. The only downside it is down a steep hill so not good for elderly people.

property was pleasant, with amiable staff and peaceful location on a hilltop surrounded by fragrant trees. location: the hotel was very close to the main township, the city medieval centre and umbria, and urbino and arezzo.

Absolutely fantastic food at the restaurant.

The parking situation impressed me-plenty of spaces within a short walk to the entrance. The scenic views offered by the room.

The hotel is a bit far from the old city center, a solid 2km trek that's mostly uphill, and taxis can hit you with a €10-12 fare each way. Breakfast options left much to be desired. If you show up a bit late, you might find slim pickings with basic offerings. The furnishings in the room scream for a refresh as they felt outdated and uncomfortable, and the chair situation was a real hassle.

What incredible staff! Really helpful, got all the info I wanted on check-in and more besides. The shuttle bus is a great little extra and saves catching the normal busses in the town and drops you right in the centre. Main highlight from our brief stay was 100% the day staff! (and Mark Knopfler playing aswell!)

the breakfast had a great selection food, like tea, milk and coffee. the hotel was set short way from corso vannucci.

Noise due to thin walls disrupts sleep!!! Outdated bathroom facilities felt cramped!!! The steep walk to the city center is quite a challenge, especially after a long day!!! Definitely room for improvement in accessibility!!!

Nice hotel on walking distance from the old city Perugia. Nice restaurant, Kind reception. Good value for money. A very good shuttle (free of charges) to the old town. Een aanrader.

The Internet was not working properly in my room.

We were given a clean room with a flat-screen television and a nice balcony. Its location not too far away from National Gallery was marvellous and pleasant. Furthermore, the area was GOOD.

Just a top selection for a short staycation in Perugia with real value for money. The staff were friendly, greeting us warmly every time we passed by. Make sure to get the shuttle to explore the amazing old city!

Friendly welcome & very enjoyable stay for whole family. English spoken at reception. Free shuttle bus was an added bonus & saved the hilly walk to the town centre.

The free shuttle into town was a nice perk, and I enjoyed the lovely views from my room. The restaurant served decent meals. It's also well-located, just a simple walk from the center.

This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and breakfast buffet exceeds expectations.

The views from the room were amazin, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast had a decent selection and they made good coffee on request. Location was nice, just a beautiful walk to the center of perugia. The free parking was a big plus too!
